Appearance: Shadestar is tall and thin with muscular back legs. Her fur is thin and silky, it coloring giving her name. It is smokey gray with black tabby stripes and very faint white marks on her face. With such a large stature, her paws are surprisingly small and delicate. Adding as well to her features is a set of massive, pointed ears that are pinkish and see-through around their bases. Her tail is long and thin, usually held over her head like a badge of office. Though she can be seen as both beautiful and odd-looking, her strangest feature is her eyes. One is dark green with traces of earth-brown while the other is a pale amber with flecks of deep blue.

Personalilty: Usually calm and collected, Shadestar also comes with the personality flaws of both ShadeClan and her breed. She can be naughty at some moments and unwilling to listen to others. She can also have rare moments where a lot of pressure can shatter her perfect composure. Most of the time, though, she is fair and willing to listen to both sides of the story. Though not particularly strong in body, she is strong-spirited and stubborn. Her will can not easily be altered. To her Clan, she is fiercely protective and loving. Though she never had a litter of her own, she is always excited to give kits their apprentice names as if they were her kits. She has often butted heads with others just as stubborn as she; these kinds of cats reveal the anger she holds. She can be fierce in love and in argument. She is the kind of cat who knows when an argument is lost and does not need the last word. Though very closed off as an apprentice, she is not as bad, but still secretive.

History:

Kithood
Her parents were Rainpuddle and Leafblaze, two ShadeClan warriors. Shadekit had a brother named Badgerkit who was larger and darker in color than she. She was simply a normal kit, though she wasn't included as often. Just before apprentice age, sickness killed her mother, Leafblaze, as well as her brother. Stricken by these deaths, she became quiet and secluded.

Apprenticeship
Shadepaw's mentor was a she-cat called Hawkwind, a former kittypet. She tried her best to bring her apprentice out of her shell, but it did little to nothing. Though the apprentice trained hard, she wouldn't let her mentor get to know her. Shadepaw had always fought with all her might, matching up to apprentices her own age. She realized that she wasn't quite so worthless and opened up a bit. She was now excited to train, not just doing it because her father made her. She also developed friendships. They were mostly with toms because she-cats were too dramatic, but some of her friends were female. Before she knew it, it was time for her warrior assessment. Her fighting wasn't as good as her mentor had hoped, but she was an alert, active night hunter. She was extremely capable of making her pawsteps nonexistent to the listening ear. So, she passed her evaluation and stood before the leader to become a warrior.

Warriorhood
Shadeflight was a proud, beautiful she-cat who was slowly opening up and absorbing the world around her. She began working hard to serve her clan and the moons flew by. It wasn't long before she had received an apprentice of her own. It was a small, timid she-cat named Whitepaw. Shadeflight took this as an excellent opportunity to bring this apprentice to be outgoing and strong. Whitepaw turned out to be an excelling fighter, something her mentor was not. Though incapable to let the apprentice reach her highest fighting skills, Shadeflight in other things as best she could. With constant praise coming from her mentor, Whitepaw soon broke her shell and was an excellent she-cat. Shadeflight couldn't believe how quickly her apprentice was ready for her warrior evaluation. She did amazing and became a warrior known as Whitewillow. With nothing to do, she went back to simply hunting and patrolling, all the while checking up on her old apprentice. Sadly, Whitewillow died giving birth to her first litter. It wasn't long after this that a terrible sickness crushed all the Clans. Before Shadeflight knew what had happened, everyone was dying and she now had the duty to go receive her nine lives. It was the most painful, yet beautiful experience of her life.
